Since there are many factors that can determine water quality, it is impossible for us to predict future water quality
There are multiple factors that can play roles in the results of water quality such as, but not limited to density of birds, boats, strong winds, rain, swimmers, etc.

Because of its location, there are a lot of currents and movements of the water at Aboiteau Beach, this is favourable when it comes to water quality
The Municipality uniquely tests the water at Aboiteau Beach that being said, it is impossible for us to know the water quality of our neighbouring beaches
Yes, we are fully transparent, immediately after receiving the testing results, they are posted on Aboiteau Beach’s website and Facebook page
On Tuesday afternoon

Note: If the Monday is a holiday, test results arrive one day later than usual.
Yes, the beaches at provincial parks also have their testing done at RCP Laboratories
Immediately after collecting the samples of water, they are sent by mail to RPC Laboratories, located at 115 Harrisville Blvd, in Moncton, NB
We are following recommendations from the Department of Health

If we receive results that aren’t good, the water is immediately retested and we will receive the new results approximately 48 hours later
The water is tested for two types of bacteria: E. Coli and Enterococcus
Every Monday, a municipal employee collects 5 samples at 5 different precise locations along Aboiteau Beach
The water is tested at Aboiteau Beach (150 Parc Alley, Cap-Pelé, N.-B. E4N 1S4)
